Abstract
This paper presents the project “1 Minute Against the Mosquito”, developed in basic education to promote awareness about arboviruses through the production of short videos by students. The proposal integrates health education, digital culture, and active methodologies, especially Project-Based Learning, encouraging student protagonism and meaningful learning. It is a qualitative pedagogical experience based on observing student engagement and productions. Students worked in groups to create one-minute videos using different communication strategies. The project culminated in an audiovisual showcase in a festival format. Results indicate increased engagement, development of communication skills, and critical use of digital technologies. The project aligns with BNCC competencies and shows potential for replication.
