Abstract
This is a narrative research with the main objective of describing the speeches of children in dialogues with the researcher in order to understand how the group of children reacted socially and initiated conversations during the researcher's entry into the daily life of an educational institution to investigate them. Seventeen children of both sexes, aged between five and six, who attended a municipal early childhood school located in the Farolândia neighborhood in the state of Sergipe, Brazil participated in the study. The data were produced through participant observation, notes and descriptions of the interactive experiences lived between the children and the researcher, during the months of April to September 2025, organized into thirteen narratives called mini stories. It was possible to verify that listening to the children, together with the affection and acceptance of their speeches, created a social bond and an ethical space of trust that were indispensable for the researcher to enter the field to carry out the study.
